Q A
I have for many years tried to locate a cooked cereal we had for breakfast during 1949-1957.  We called it wheatworth during those years. We never had any that was returned to the
kitchen, unlike oatmeal which many of us did not eat.  I have often wondered if it was made available through the government since I have never been able to find it in the grocery.  I have tried cream of wheat and all the others but nothing is as good a "wheatworth".

Anybody have a clue?

Possible Wheatina?
What was the "ditch"? The "ditch" was the remains of the wash down from the milk room, after every milking. The cows were particularly generous and the ditch filled up quickly. The boys who had done something wrong during the week were "invited" to help clean it out on Saturdays.
