Summary of Special
Assistance Funds |
|
| THE REDDING-MENDENHALL
COLLEGE LOAN FUND |
|
| This fund was established through a bequest
from the estate of Cynthia Mendenhall (1939) to provide loans for college
for graduating seniors of The Children's Home. It has been determined that
so long as ample scholarship funds from other sources are available for
seniors, this loan fund can be made available to Children's Home alumni.
Contact John Ammons or Jim Long for details. |

| THE DAN L. DRUMMOND
MEMORIAL FUND |
|
| This fund was created by Mrs. Frances Drummond
in memory of her late husband. Earnings of the fund are to be used for
interest-free loans to individual Children's Home alumni facing financial
emergencies. Committee members that administer the fund are the CHAA
President, the Executive Director of The Home, and the Controller of The
Home. Contact any of these individuals for more information. |

by such other methods as may be directed from time to time by the
Board of Trustees of The Home.
- Be disbursed at the discretion of the Executive Director and the
Controller of The Home, who shall report all disbursements to the
Finance Committee of The board at least annually.
- Be responsive to recommendations of individuals in need brought by

regarding these recommendations remaining with the Executive Director
